Princess Maria Assunta of Brasland

Princess Maria Assunta of Brasland (born 1992) is the daughter of Prince Stephan of Brasland.

She attended a school founded by Carmelite nuns. In 2010 she begun to perform duties, although not in an official capacity. She presides over half a dozen associations and institutions.

In 2014 she married Count Adalhard von Pfeirenstein, head and last male of an old Nixinseler family. They had been engaged since December of 2013. Maria Assunta fell in love with Adalhard, a man quite different from those had met at Court. He is very tall and heavy, as well as pious and loving. The Pfeirenstein family do not even own a house in Markund, as they have little interest in courtesan life.

She and her husband live at Schloss Götzingen, a 13th century fortress in south Nixinsel.
