Provinsk is the second-largest city in Vekaiyu and remains one of the more forward-thinking cities in The East Pacific realm. The city's youth are trendy and full of opinions while the old are more cautious, remembering the series of regime changes the city and the country had to endure. Provinskis, as they like to be called, are perhaps the most progressive individuals in all of Vekaiyu and have accepted the slow transition into a bilingual society (Unonian and English) with open arms. These people like to educate themselves about other national cultures, and do not waste an opportunity to educate others about theirs.

Provinsk is a city that has enjoyed importance for quite some time. In the middle ages it was an important trade center connecting Vekaiyun merchants with north and west sections of the continent, unobstructed by the Ta'lavero Mountains. Provinsk birthed many great Vekaiyun inventors who spurred the plastics and rubber industries of the nineteenth century. Today it represents one of the industrial hubs of Vekaiyu, and is recognized for its continued embrace of said industries. Universities strong in tech jobs continue to churn out bright and innovative individuals to further the city's success into the 21st century.
