4reich is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of 4reich eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. It’s the economy, stupid... and in this region, it’s massive. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 79%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 31% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a major priority of national governments within the region, most of whom are trading nations, as is evidenced by the fact that commerce budgets account for an average of 19% of public expenditure in the region.
Denizens of the 4reich are poorly educated, with rampant illiteracy. The region's law enforcement is arguably too well-equipped and overzealous, arresting citizens who dare to commit the most minor of infractions. Defense is an overarching priority for governments within the region. One might suggest they are compensating for something. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.
Governments in 4reich find themselves in a constant state of disarray, with very little co-ordination, only 1% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Governments generally endow their healthcare departments with a large amount of funding, with an average of 5% of government budgets across the region being devoted to healthcare. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Spirituality is an obsession of governments in the region, with a relatively very high average of 6% of government budgets being devoted to Spirituality.
In 4reich, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
