Technologica

Technologica is a small region, sparsely populated by only 5 nations and only 3 World Assembly Members.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Technologica eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. The economy of the region exists only in the imaginations of its members. Income taxes are unheard of amongst the denizens of the region. The region is a beacon of capitalism, with the public sector not existing in any meaningful way in constituent economies. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.

In Technologica, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 3% of total government budgets.

Nobody really knows about the state of administration in Technologica. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 3% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within Technologica, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
