Overview
Founding & Beliefs
The New Commonwealth Society was founded in late 2012, following the disappearance of our former founder and the split of the Commonwealth Society into several successor regions. The New Commonwealth is the spiritual successor to our former region.
We are a region founded on the belief that nations have the right to govern their citizens freely, and equality among all Member States.
All nations are encouraged to participate in our regional government, role plays, and to contribute to our charter and wiki pages.
Founders
The region was originally founded in 2009 by Stenbeck, then refounded by Nafistan. It was during this period that the region experienced its greatest era of growth and activity. In late 2012, he disappeared leading to a third refound with the CWS founder being established. Britain and Northern Eire and Ashebourton have served as founder, however the honour now rests with Thangor.

Ambassadors
These states are auxiliary states that are willfully maintained by member states of The New Commonwealth Society. The Ambassador states are placed in key regions that the New Commonwealth Society was relations with. They provide updates to that region regarding the New Commonwealth Society and also provide any assistance that the host region requires. An ambassador is considered to be a diplomatic representative of the commonwealth society. The ambassador represents both the nation in control of it and The Commonwealth Society's government. They provide a crucial and necessary role in maintaining the regional government, both abroad and at home. The Current Ambassadors are:

We the people of The New Commonwealth Society, in order to organize ourselves politically on a fully democratic basis, promote the general welfare of the many nations, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the complete enjoyment of human rights, placing our trust in social law, do ordain and establish this charter for the Commonwealth in the exercise of our natural rights, we now proclaim within our diversity and union. The Charter of The New Commonwealth Society provides our guiding laws.
