The 2017 Saren Federal Election was called by President Perales. It was decisively won by the Labor Party led by Christian Ross which formed a majority government within the following week. It resulted in the acquisition of a Senate majority, the first of its kind since Henry Tortax in 1974.

Apportionment

As previously, the state of Western Espanol carried the most Federal Divisions followed by Eastern Espanol with 115 and 95 respectively. It is expected that the next election will result in both states losing some seats and those seats going to Jumiera or Meia.
