The Social Democratic Party of Tarper (SDPT), also commonly referred to as the SocDems, is a social democratic political party in Tarper. The party was founded in 2003 as a continuation of the NeoComms, a social democratic party in the former Republic of Tarper.

Since mid-2012, its leader has been Ruben Mann. In the Bundestag the party won 69 out of 709 seats in the 2017 federal elections and, after the SU, GLU, and the LP formed a grand coalition, became junior leader of the opposition. Its parliamentary group is the fifth largest among the seven groups in the Bundestag, ahead of the christian democrats.
