The National Security Enforcement Group abbreviated GESN (Spanish:Grupo de aplicación de la seguridad nacional) is Narsora's national counter-terrorism force, under the command of the Ministry of Interior .
The GESN was formed in mid-2015 after an amalgamation of the various counter-terrorism units of the National Police and Ministry of Interior.
Known Operations
In September 2015, the unit was involved in an anti-terror operation; Operation Medidas to arrest known and suspected members of the FEMOINGOLS militant group. The operation resulted in 20 arrests and 15 persons charged.
