Theodor Franz Schreiber (born 18 September 1893) was a Rotgeheiman Rottenführer (Lance Corporal) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is best known for his actions during the Invasion of Scheinfeld, during which he sacrificed his life to ensure the safe retreat of the soldiers under his command when they were ambushed. For his gallantry and heroism in combat, Schreiber was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
Schreiber left behind a wife, Gerda Spielvogel, with whom he had been married for only two years before his death.
