Walther Franz Stellmacher (16 June 1897 – 21 April 1916), was a Rotgeheiman Schütze (Private) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is known for being the first Rotgeheiman serviceman to be killed in action during the Invasion of Scheinfeld. He was killed when his armored personnel career was shot by an enemy anti-tank gun, the shell of which passed through his body and killed him instantly. He was only eighteen at the time of his death.

Per Rotgeheiman tradition for the first serviceman killed in a conflict, he was given a state funeral in Eisenhimmel, which was attended by Kaiser Ferdinand Diederich Geske.
