a. English is the language spoken in the Parliament as a remainder from the British colonial administration from before 1955, and is currencly used as communication between officials and smaller ethnic groups such as the Portuguese.
b. Recognised as a local language in some neighbourhoods in San Isicio City, due to the high number of ethnic Portuguese living in the nation.
c. Samisician untill 1973, changed to Isician due to pronounciation issues for some foreign languages and the wide use of the denonym Isician before the 1973 denonym reform.

San Isicio, officially the Republic of San Isicio, is an island country in the Alliance Dictators, located in the central ocean, between the United Socialist States of Sabrek and the Empire of Old Sparta, although not sharing any official maritime boundaries with it's surrounding neighbours.

The country covers an area of 5,322 square kilometres and consists of the island San Isicio. The island is divided into 5 municipalities which are subject to the government in San Isicio City.

The island was discovered by Miguel Della Gracias, a Spanish-languaged explorer in service of England, in 1672. He named the island after Hesychius of Cazorla, also known as Isicio, a saint from the 1st century. The island remained uninhabited untill 1744 when it was claimed and colonized by the British Empire. The island was a popular destination for spanish and portuguese-languaged immigrants which forced the colonial government to accept Spanish and Portuguese as languages on the island. San Isicio became independent single-party republic in 1955 after several protests and riots. The country's economy is dependent from tourism and the archicultural sector, with an emphasis on cacao and sugar.

San Isicio is known for it's legal prostitution and softdrugs consumption, making the island a famous tourist attraction. It's also known for it's protected rainforest in the north-east of the country.
