The European Union (EU) is an enormous region formed by 112 member nations. The EU operates through a system of 3 main supranational institutions: the European Court of Justice, the European Council, and the European Commission which is led by the Premier Commissioner. The institutions of the EU have their seats located in the capital of the Union, Europolis.

Politics

The EU operates to some extent in a series of competencies such as economic policy, healthcare, transportation, defence, diplomatic affairs, and justice. At an institutional level, the EU is organised in three main institutions representing the three branches of power: the European Council (Legislative), the European Commission (Executive), and the European Court of Justice (Judiciary).

European Commission

The European Commission is the organisation tasked with executing and implementing the decisions of the European Council. It is formed by four commissioners and a premier commissioner who leads them in four month terms. Its members are elected by the members of the Council.
