a. The President is only a figurehead of the peoples’ unity as one nation under one flag and serves only ceremonial duties. Since the President is already deceased, a person shall be elected Presidential Regent to execute the ceremonial duties of the Office of the President as stated in the Constitution of ILAM. The current Presidential Regent is Com PR Leonid Ilyvich.
b. The prime minister functions as the chief executive officer of the country and is elected through the hybrid electoral system of Davantian-style voting.
