The Federal Peoples' Republic of Durbia (Durbian: Savezne narodna Republika Durbia) is a country located on the Yasteria Major continent of Urth, The East Pacific. It's only direct land border is South Hills to the east.
Durbia is known throughout Urth for its instability and conflict, never really achieving 'stability' since the collapse of the Kingdom of Durbia in 1992. A mix of "native" humans, Vulpines from the surrounding area (mainly South Hills), and dwarves/Elves from Babiana have lead to many decades of instability in the nation.
The current government, the Federal Peoples' Republic is widely accused of discrimination against Human's and Vulpine creatures, following many Elves and Dwarves, previously fighting against the South Hills occupation of Babiana, fled into the country and established a government. In addition to this, tensions are heightened due to a clash of Muslim and Christian ideologies.
Though unstable by nature, Durbia boasts a relatively large economy for a nation its size, mostly due to the oil fields in the southwestern quadrant of the nation.
Durbian is the only official recognized language, however English and Unonian are both widely used.
