Polish foreign relations have been budding since its beginnings in the European Union. Poland-Lithuania is bordered by Davishire to the northwest, Halsberg and Vaithopia to the south, North Europa to the east, and the Arctic Ocean to the north. Foreign relations have been a primary focus of President Karolina Kligenberg and the Polish Socialist Party in the Sejm.

Trading Partners

Poland-Lithuania's primary trading partner is Halsberg, as the two nations are currently trading nearly $323 billion annually. Historically, Kiev and Thurston had established trade routes since the Medieval era, and recently the two governments have signed a landmark trade agreement for Eastern Europe, by far the largest and one of the largest trading partners in the European Union. GroBdeutches Reich, Rimroth, and others are also highly important free trade partners.

Association of North Atlantic Nations

Poland has recently joined a coalition of Icholasen, Miraco, and the Imperial Prussian State, forming the Association of North Atlantic Nations or ANAN. This organization was devoted to promoting democratic values, securing an economic and defence alliance that has not been matched in the European Union for years. The landmark agreement was signed in Kiev.

Sahwari Union

Poland-Lithuania officially recognizes the Sahwari Union, a state born out of conflict in the Western Sahara region in Marrakechia.

Davishire

Poland-Lithuania's relations with Davishire have soured, due to their policing of the international waters of the Arctic Ocean. The Sejm and President Kligenberg took their actions as a direct threat to the Polish Republic and as such escalated to the point of nearly deploying forces to the border of Poland-Lithuania and Davishire. Tensions have subsided a bit, and relations remain frosty, yet the threat of war has been eliminated.
