This is a list of the Billboard NK top single each year. Until 2003 this ranking was based on physical sales. From 2004 to 2010 it was based on physical sales and digital sales combined. From 2011 to 2014 it was based on digital sales alone. As of 2015 it is based on overall Hot 100 performance for the year, thereby basing it on a formula combining digital sales, radio airplay and internet streaming.
