The Lothinese Crisis also known as the Central Moneylanian Crisis is an armed conflict in Lothi and Central Moneylania. The first invasion of Lothi was on 20 June 2025 by an invasion force led by Ironcastle. Prior to the war, the governments of the Ironcastle and the Sibaria claimed that Lothinese Rebel Forces alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) posed a threat to their security and that of their allies. In 2025, the Moneylania Council passed Resolution 2081 which called for Lothi to completely cooperate with Bananish troops and inspectors to verify that Lothinese Rebels were not in possession of WMD and cruise missiles.
By late July, Lothi had lost control of its border with Moorburgh and Scuro. The Emir of Lothi Lakiz called for a national state of emergency on 31 July following the attack on Al-Asahr, which had been seized overnight. Over the course of the year, the LJPA had advanced at an alarming rate. Currently they control almost a sixth of Central Moneylanian land.
Build up to war
The emergance of the LJPA
Before the 2025 invasion of Lothi, the LJPA, achieved notoriety in the early stages of the Lothinese insurgency for the suicide attacks on Shia Islamic mosques, civilians, Lothinese government institutions and Damanian soldiers partaking in the Lothinese War Games.
The LJPA began it's movement southward in early July, 2026. The alarming rate of movement gained the attention of international spy agencies such as the Ironcastle Security Agency and OP40. This sparked imidiate action within the international forces. Ironian, Sibarian, Damanian and Bananish forces began to mobalise for war.
Executions
During mid-July, 2026, a video uploaded to the site LiveLeek called The Last Stand - Rise Up Muslims! showed the executions of several aid workers, one from Xianuan, one from Ironcastle and one from Banana Federation. These videos sparked fear into those viewing from the Central Moneylanian area.
The international forces became outraged. Each international body called in for emergancy meetings. The videos where taken down two hours after they were uploaded.
