Prince Maximilian von Altenhaus (1877-1954) was the son of Prince Joseph II von Altenhaus.

In 1902 he married Baroness Alexandra d'Ipswatten. She died in 1913, and the marriage was childless. He remarried in 1917 to Countess Blanka von Henslen.
