The Metatron Corporation is a company that originates from The Oan Isles that is focused on the manufacture of electronic products.

Structure

Ownership

There are two types of shares: voting shares and non-voting shares. Half of the voting shares are owned by the Government of The Oan Isles. The other half is owned by permanent workers at the company. After 3 years of work, a worker receives voting shares in the company. Non-voting shares are freely exchanged on the La Rochelle Stock Exchange. The Standard National Bank owns a third of all non-voting shares.

Governance

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily administration and governance of the company, for representing the company and for directing or setting the long term mandate or goals of the company. The current CEO is Celeste Uataka. She was elected by the Board on 30 January 2017. She is the former, and last, Minister of Finance of The Oan Isles. The Board in turn approves major decisions, while each member has the right to submit a proposal. The Board is elected and appointed by the National Council.

The Metatron Corporation has a large focus on research and development. It works closely with the University of La Rochelle and the National Science Council of The Oan Isles.

Expansion

The Metatron Corporation is a very large company, one that requires a lot of space and cheap, but efficient labour and easy access to resources. It aims to compete, if not altogether usurp Serenitech Industries. It is looking towards building a planned city in South Staynes called Metatron City to fully realise its goals of Urth-domination.
