Structure
Ownership
There are two types of shares: voting shares and non-voting shares. Half of the voting shares are owned by the Government of The Oan Isles. The other half is owned by permanent workers at the company. After 3 years of work, a worker receives voting shares in the company. Non-voting shares are freely exchanged on the La Rochelle Stock Exchange. The Standard National Bank owns a third of all non-voting shares.
Governance
The Metatron Corporation is led by a President/Chief Executive Officer who runs the daily affairs and leads the company as a whole. The Board of Directors is responsible for authorising major actions. Unlike other companies in which the state has a large stake, it has little influence in the daily affairs of the company. The Consortium appoints the Board and CEO after consulting with the workers.
The Board has a lot of independence in the work it does and the decisions it makes. The Board is made up of representatives of the Consortium, while the representatives of the state and the workers seldom say much, leaving the bulk of the work to the Consortium-appointed board members. The Managing Directors are the highest employees. Their job is to oversee the major divisions and departments of the company. These include the Managing Director for the Finance Department or the Managing Director for the Robotics Tech Division or the Weapons division.

Research
The Metatron Corporation has a large focus on research and development. It works closely with the University of La Rochelle and the National Science Council of The Oan Isles.
Expansion
The Metatron Corporation is a very large company, one that requires a lot of space and cheap, but efficient labour and easy access to resources. It aims to compete, if not altogether usurp Serenitech Industries. It is looking towards building a planned city in South Staynes called Metatron City to fully realise its goals of Urth-domination.
