The People's Republic of Mocambyk, often referred to as simply Mocambyk, is a young Unitary One Party Socialist State located in northern Gondwana. The capital and largest city is Maputu.

Government
The People's Republic of Mocambyk is self-described “socialist state” that is dedicated to "the construction of a new society, free from the exploitation of man by man." The current governmental system takes inspiration from East Cerdani but with less rigidity. The People's Assembly is the national legislature of Mocambyk. Smaller Provincial Assemblies and City Assemblies are also represented. The sole legal political entity is FRELIMO.
Foreign Relations
The Mocambykian Government has historically been close with the COMMIES and other socialist nations with little communication with other countries. Mocambyk officially describes itself as a "sovereign, independent, non-aligned nation."
Military

The Popular Forces for the Liberation of Mocambyk of Mocambyk (Forças Populares De Libertação De Moçambyk or FPLM) are the professional military forces of Mocambyk. Conscription is mandatory and actively enforced.
Economy

The Mocambykian economy is officially described as a centrally planned and managed economy on Urth. In reality there still exists low scale private enterprise and a lack of industrialisation. The prices of most goods and services are set by central government planners. The state establishes production targets and prices and allocates resources, codifying these decisions in comprehensive plans in liaison with the Production Councils. These plans are then enforced in order to ensure they are met.
