The Royal Armed Forces of the Empire is the colloquial term used for all Armed Forces of the United Kingdom. Each of the Royal Staynish Armed Forces, Imperial Caltharusian Military, South Staynish Armed Forces and Military of Justelvard serve under Lambertus VII, the current Head of State of the Empire.

The RAFOTE is the worlds second-largest Armed Forces, with an approximate strength of 2,822,389 personnel, 0.7% of the total population. It is the fastest growing and modernising military force in the world, with significant defence and global power projection capabilities. Recently, it has been rapidly developing and commissioning new arsenals, with numerous technological advancements and breakthroughs.

Each of the three countries that make up the Empire have independent Armed Forces. They each have their own defined Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as Special branches. In a war scenario, each Armed Forces come together for strength, and the term Royal Armed Forces of the Empire comes into effect. A War Cabinet is then devised with the serving Monarch, Secretary of State for Defence of Staynes, Lord Commander of Caltharus, Senior General of South Staynes and Defence Secretary of Justelvard, as well as the acting Prime Minister. In general use, each Armed Forces serve each nations interests, which usually coincide with one another.

Nuclear weapons

The UK possesses one of the worlds largest nuclear stockpiles. Staynes holds 3,813 nuclear weapons, its most powerful at 52 Megatons, of which there are two, Caltharus holds 3,201 nuclear weapons, its most powerful at 34 Megatons, and South Staynes holds about 300 nuclear weapons, but does not legally own them. The nuclear weapons of South Staynes are distributed around its territory and islands, but are property of Staynes. Justelvard has been a nuclear weapons state in the past, during the height of the Auroran Imperial War; whilst not actually taking part, its peak stockpile was 12 nuclear weapons, its largest being 6 Kilotons. The total stockpile during the Auroran Imperial War was over 40,000. Today, the three countries with nuclear weapons have a combined total of 7,314.
