The Republic of Tivot, better known as Tivot, is a small nation that shares a single border with Cathalrus on the continent Aurora. Tivot was part of Kostuvastan but gained independence immediately after The Auroran Imperial War. It has maintained peaceful relations with the former Kostuv territories of Baykalia, Kostromastan, and Tuvaltastan.Tivot exists between the latitudes S and S, and between the longitudes E and E. The nation, with a Nominal GDP per capita of $, has an estimated population of . The nation is located at the tip of the Auroran Peninsula. Tivot also has three islands. The largest city Tarov holds the entire population, due to the extreme mountainous environment.

Etymology

Tivot comes from the ancient word "tivo," which originates from the dead language of the ancient Kostuvians. "Tivo" translates to "fun" in Codexian, and "Vn" (Pronounced Vun) in Altuvi.

Unlike its war-torn counterparts, Tivot has not been ravaged in a war since The Auroran Imperial War. Due to this, it was able to advance in technology quicker than the rest of former Kostuvastan, advancing beyond the need for livestock (see Agriculture and Livestock).

The Prime Minister position is the main part of the executive branch, and can veto bills passed by the Hall and Chamber and propose bills to the Hall and Chamber.

Takes over the job of High-Minister when the High-Minister is absent. When not substituting, the Vice-Minister focuses on domestic affairs along with the Chamber. The Vice-Minister and the Speaker of the Chamber have executive authority over the Chamber.

The Tivot Credit is the second most influencial currency of the four currencies of the former Kostuvastan. One Tivot Credit is equivalent to 1.07 grams of Platinum. Platinum is relatively abundant in the Auroran desert, and has been the base of wealth in former Kostuvastan (similar to how gold is the base of wealth irl). Kings of Imperial Kostuvastan were known to decorate their palaces with platinum.
