The 7th General Assembly was elected at the September 2017 election. This consisted of seven independent members, and each served a three-month term from 30 September to 14 December 2017. The final members of the 7th General Assembly were Llorens, Franckley, Libertasnia, South Miruva, Atealia, Cedoria, and Rathfarnham.

Proposals

Any bill requires fifty percent plus one vote in favour, with this being held in a referendum for bills affecting the Constitution and in the General Assembly for those not. The following are the proposals that were put to vote during the term of the 7th General Assembly:

  • Separate the judiciary from the GA to make Supreme Court
  • Abolish Ministers to implement five elected Senators to the GA

  • Change the election period to the first half of election months
  • Terminate the ongoing term half a month earlier
