The People's Republic of Haakonsson, formerly named The Holy Empire of Haakonsson, and commonly referred to as Haakonsson, is a country located in North America comprising portions of the former American states of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, with territories in South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, and Arizona. It's estimated population of over 27,000,000 ranks first in Sjurdland.

Following The Great War, Haakonsson emerged as a superpower along with its ally on the west coast, the Armed Reich of Korgistan. Haakonsson is currently at war with Quebec Ouest, part of the New Acadian and Quebecois Wars (2034 - present)

Haakonsson is ruled by the dictator Holy God Emperor Sjurd Haakonsson and is the founder of the Sjurdland and founding member of the Sjurdland Regional Commission, Sjurdland Slave Commission, the Nationalist Nations Trade Agreement, and Dual Seed Christian Identity Church. It exerts a large amount of economic, military, and religious powers across the region. It utilizes a mixed-economy that is about 75% private and 25% government-sanctioned.

Haakonsson is a restrive nation banning internet usage, tobacco, contraception, gay marriage, and abortion. The nation produces and stockpiles Weapons of Mass Destruction and holds a constitutional right to use them. The official religion is Christian Identity, which is strictly adhered to and the religion is constitutionally mandated. Slave labor, particularly among blacks is rampant in much of Haakonsson.

Religion

Christian Identity is the sole state religion. All other religions are banned, though traditional Protestants and Aryanists are generally not prosecuted. National law requires all violators to be publicly executed. HGE Sjurd Haakonsson is the holy leader of Christian Identity and has full say over the direction of the religion. Every town and city with a population of over 25 residents are required to contain at least one church. The Christian Identity church is the main supplier of welfare in the country, running many shelters, camps, clinics, and insane hospitals.

Haakonsson is known for its numerous human rights violations since the founding of the nation.

Following the Great World War, a period of ethnic cleansing and genocide were committed. More than 2,000,000 were slaughtered and near-complete eradication of non-Christian and all minority races were completed. Haakonsson controlled six major concentration camps, including the infamous Holmesburg Prison in Philadelphia which became the site of the largest camp where more than 1,000,000 were killed by gas chamber.

In 2038, the Haakonsson Empire Supreme Laws were signed into law by HGE Haakonsson which forbid all non-white humans from ever becoming citizens, forbid most basic freedoms, made Christian Identity the official and sole religion of the empire.

Executions, including public mass executions, are commonplace. Most crime is punishable by imprisonment, slavery, or death. Common crimes for execution include; stealing, blasphemy, race mixing, advocating or participating in homosexual activity, murder, and protesting the supreme ruler.
