Oeslan (Eslanish: Eslaña [ezˈlaɲa]), officially the Kingdom of Oeslan (Eslanish: Reino de Eslaña; Rhenish: Königreich Äestien) is a sovereign kingdom located on the Estrenian Peninsula in southwestern Victorium, with oversea possessions located on the Gileadan, Suranese and Nusantaran continents. Oeslan's mainland is bordered to the west and south by the Reval Ocean; to the east by the Mesogaian Sea; and to the north by Decapitiane.

Eslanish territory also includes three archipelagos; Islas Marías, in the Reval Ocean, Santo Cerro, in the Carriboa Sea, and Islas de Bello Horizonte in the Carriboa Sea; three viceroyalties, Téxara, in the Gileads, Çematza, in Suran & Dellaçío, in Nusantara; and a Crown Possession; Bergamo, in Western Victorium.

The Crown of Oeslan is a composite kingdom comprised of one kingdoms and three viceroyalties: the Kingdom of Oeslan-Retução (achieved after the Union of the Crowns in 1548); the Serene Viceroyalty of Téxara, the Grand Viceroyalty of Çematza and the Viceroyalty of Dellaçío. In mainland Oeslan, there are 20 duchies, in total, and the capital of the kingdom and largest city is Fájarça. The country has developed a very high standard of living and features a comprehensive system of social security, including the world's oldest universal health-care system.

From about the time where Oeslan became a unified nation in the 13th century, it has birthed numerous influential philosophers & music composers, making it richly known for its cultural and political history. Concurrently during the early modern period, Oeslan became history's first global colonial empire, that has left a stark cultural and linguistic legacy that includes over 500 million Eslanish speakers, making the language the second most spoken first language in the world. Oeslan is also a recognized nuclear state.

Oeslan is a constitutional monarchy, that retains a hereditary monarch and an bicameral parliament, the Cortes Eslañolas (Eslanish Courts). The executive branch of is comprised of the Royal Council, a council of ministers of every ministry in Oeslan, that is presided over by the reigning Monarch.

The legislative branch is comprised of the Congress of Deputies (Congreso de los Diputados) with 343 members, who are elected to office via universal, secret ballot by proportional representation, for a term of six years, and the Chamber of Magnates (Cámara de Magnates) with 100 seats of which are all appointed by the reigning Monarch, in conference with the Crown Minister.

The Eslanish realm consists of two kingdoms, three viceroyalities and an arch-duchy, respectively: Oeslan, Retução, Téxara, Çematza, Dellaçío and Bergamo. The two Kingdoms of Oeslan & Retução are considered to be known together as Continental Oeslan. The Viceroyality of Téxara was recently granted a devolved administration, based it its capital of Santos de Oro, with a large degree of self-governing rule and international representation for itself.

Continental Oeslan, which makes up the core provinces of the Eslanish state, are divided into 20 provinces, and are known as duchies (ducados), retaining their historical titles. The oversea duchies of Islas de Bello Horizonte and Islas Marias are administrated by the government in Fájarça, and are considered to be apart of the Continental Eslanish state, in terms of political and governmental rights.

Administrative regions are the first level of administrative division in the nation. The administrative divisions are granted very-limited right to self-government, except for Téxara, which was recently granted devolved power to self-govern their own affairs. The regions generally share common historical, cultural and economic traits, to which would legally comprise them to be an administrative region.

The armed forces of Oeslan are known as the Crown's Armed Forces (Fuerzas Armadas de la Corona). The Commander-in-chief is the Monarch of Oeslan, Queen Cataliña I, to whom members of the forces swear an oath of allegiance and obedience. The three professional service branches of the Crown's Armed Forces are the Royal Army (Ejército Real de Tierra), the Royal Navy (Armada Real) and the Royal Air Force (Ejército Real del Aire). The forces are managed by the Ministry of Security and controlled by the Defense Staff, chaired by the Minister of Security. The Armed Forces are charged with the mission of protecting Oeslan's borders, its people and its oversea territories and possessions and promoting Oeslan's global interests in terms of security.

The Eslanish road network is chiefly centralized, with numerous motorways and ducal roads. The main motorways that connect the capital city to the rest of the state are known as Capital Roads (Carreteras Capitales). The Eslanish road network spans approximately 783.210 kilometers (486.664 miles) in total, of which 20.054 kilometers (12.461 miles) are expressways.

Oeslan has the most extensive high=seed rail network in Victorium, and the second-most extensive in the world. Oeslan has a total of 6.300 km (3.915 miles) of high-speed rail tracks that links the Capital Provence with the capitals of every duchy, with the trains reaching speeds up to 322 km/h (200 mph). On average, the Eslanish high-speed train is the fastest one in the world, giving way to being the second in the world for punctuality (99,01% on-time arrival). By mid-2016, Oeslan will have 9.805 km (6.093 mi)of high-speed rail tracks linking almost all cities to Fájarça in less that 3,5 hours.
