Omerica (pronounced /ˌoʊmɪ'rikə/; Takiari: ʻOmerika, /ʔʌ.mɛ'rə.ka/), officially known as the Commonwealth of Omerica (Komunate ʻo ʻOmerika), is a sovereign state and federation of twenty-six cantons and three territories located in north-western Esportiva. Located at the far eastern end of the ? continent, Omerica is a cosmopolitan and multilingual state and shares a sense of community founded upon common historical ties, maritime symbolism and shared liberal democratic values.
Etymology
The name Omerica derives from the Takiari phrase ʻo ʻe rika, meaning "of the blossom". (The Takiari tuatonga, or "hard stop", often mutates to an m in compound words.)
