The Demokratischen Staaten Rheinreich (pronounced /raɪnraɪk/) or The Democratic States of Rheinreich in English is a developed nation of approximately 44 million inhabitants situated in the northeast of The New Inquisition.
Rheinreich is noted for recent election, in which the Democratic Socialists won by a landslide, and voted to bring the country out of its decades-long isolation, which began in 1949 after several internal struggles greatly destabilized the country.
Politically, Rheinreich is controlled by the fiercely libertarian Democratic Socialist Party (DSP), who are dedicated to bringing Rheinreich up to date, following it's deisolation in December of 2014. The chancellor and head of state, Katrin Volker, is regulated by a complex system of checks and balances, as is the Supreme Houselord Arnaud Raske.
