The Most Noble Order of St Nicholas is the highest order of chivalry in Brasland. It was founded in 1708 by King Frederick I, to celebrate ten years since the country's independence. The King of Brasland is the Sovereign of the Order.

The Order is limited to twenty knights, except for princes of the Royal House and foreign heads of state. Members of the Order are entitled to the style of His Excellency. Only men can be part of the Order (except for foreign heads of state who are women).
