The President of the Laiatanese Federation is the head of state and head of government of Laiatan. The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the Laiatanese Defense Forces.

Election for president is held every four years on the last Wednesday of October. The President-Elect is elected by popular vote, and inaugurated on the second Wednesday of the following January.
