Nacata, officially Royal Protectorate of Nacata is a sovereign country located in Western Atlantia, occupying the Atlantian Coast.. Its sole land border is with Forodhar to the North, with the rest of its territory surrounded by unclaimed territory.

Following Morstaybishlian rule, Nacata became a Kuthernburg protectorate in the early 20th century until gaining Semi-Autonomous country in 1982. Nacata has been ruled by the House of Royal Families since the early 19th century. Clifton Heriberto Mccoy was the founder of the State of Nacata. Nacata is a constitutional monarchy and its head of state is Charlotte Roberson. Whether it should be regarded as a constitutional, or an absolute monarchy is a matter of opinion. In 2003, the constitution was overwhelmingly approved in a referendum, with almost 98% in favour.In early 2017, Nacata's total population was 39 million: 29 million Nacatan citizens and 10 million expatriates.

Nacata is a high income economy, backed by a large natural gas reserves and oil reserves. The country has 1 of the highest per capita income in the world. Nacata is classified by the PKFU as a country of very high human development and is the most advanced Kuthern state for human development.Nacata is a significant power in the Royal Family , supporting Anti-Al-Jaheed rebels during the Terroist takeover in Litop both financially and through its globally expanding media group, Catan Media Network. For its size, Nacata wields disproportionate influence in the world, and has been identified as a middle power. Nacata will host the 2022 Kuthern Race World Cup.

History

Morstaybishlian Rule

In 1766, the Morstaybishlian Empire Colonist migrated from Kuthernburg To Roseland in Nacata. By the time of their arrival, the Nacato exercised weak authority over the peninsula, not withholding that the largest village was ruled by a distant kin of the Nacato.In 1783, Kuther -based Morstaybishlian clans and allied Nacato tribes invaded and annexed Nacato from the weak government. Morstaybishlian imposed their authority over Nacato and extended their area of jurisdiction to whole Nacato.

As punishment for piracy, an Latianburg Company vessel bombarded Pollok in 1821, destroying the town and forcing hundreds of residents to flee. In 1825, the Royal Assembly was established with Milanok Intom as the first leader.

Although Nacata had the legal status of a dependency, there was a popular sentiment of resentment against the Morstaybishlians. In 1867, the Kuthernburg Navy, along with Morstaybishlians sent a massive naval force to Nacata in an effort to crush the Nacatan rebels. This resulted in the maritime Royal Family–Nacata War of 1867–1868, in which Kuthernburg and Morstaybishlians forces sacked and looted Pollok and Roseland.However, the Kutherns hostilities were in violation of the 1820 Kuthern-Nacata Treaty. The joint incursion, in addition to the Nacata counterattack, prompted LatianBurg political agent Lewis Pelly to impose a settlement in 1868. His mission to Kalatia and Nacata and the resulting peace treaty were milestones because they implicitly recognised the distinctness of Kalatia from Nacata and explicitly acknowledged the position of Milanok Intom. In addition to censuring Kalatia for its breach of agreement, the Latian protectorate asked to negotiate with a representative from Nacata, a role which Milanok Intom was selected to fulfil. The results of the negotiations left the nation with a new-found sense of political identity, although it did not gain an official standing as a protectorate until 1907.

Independence and aftermath

The State of Nacata entered into a general maritime truce with Kuternburg in 1868. A General Treaty was concluded between the two on 3 November 1917. The General Treaty reserved foreign affairs and defence to Kuthernburg but allowed internal autonomy. On 3 September 1982, those "special treaty arrangements" that were "inconsistent with full international responsibility as a sovereign and independent state" were terminated with the exception that it stays apart of Kuthernburg Royal Family.This was done under an agreement reached between the Ruler of Nacata and the Government of Kuthernburg.

In 1991, Nacata played a significant role in the LatianBurg Civil War, particularly during the Battle of the States in which Nacata tanks rolled through the streets of the different towns and provided fire support for LatianBurg National Guard units that were engaging Free States Army troops. Nacata allowed coalition troops from Kuthernburg to use the country as an airbase to launch aircraft on CAP duty and also permitted air forces from the Staynes and Furnifold to operate in its territories.

In 1995, Charlotte Roberson seized control of the country from her father, with the support of the armed forces and cabinet, as well as neighbouring states and Kuthernburg. Under Charlotte Roberson Nacata has experienced a moderate degree of liberalisation, including the launch of the Canta television station (1996), the endorsement of women's suffrage or right to vote in municipal elections (1999), drafting its first written constitution (2005) and inauguration of a Roman Catholic church (2008). Nacata announced its plans to hold its first national legislative elections in 2013. They were scheduled to be held in the second half of 2013, but were postponed in June 2013 and may be delayed until 2019.

In 2003, Nacata served as the Kuthernburg Central Command headquarters and one of the main launching sites of the invasion of Litop. In March 2005, a suicide bombing killed a Latian teacher at the Pollok Players Theatre, shocking the country, which had not previously experienced acts of terrorism. The bombing was carried out by Omar Hendinsh, an Kuthern resident in Nacata. In 2016, Nacata joined PKFU Operations.

Charlotte Roberson has prioritised improving the domestic welfare of citizens, which includes establishing advanced healthcare and education systems, and expanding the country's infrastructure in preparation for the hosting of the 2022 Kuthern Racing World Cup.

Government

Education Nacata hired the KAND Corporation to reform its K–12 education system.Through Nacata Foundation, the country has built Education City, a campus which hosts local branches of the Queen Victoria Medical College, Lambertus V Mellon School of Computer Science, Queen Naomi University School of Foreign Service, North Medill School of Journalism, Litop School of Engineering, and other Royal institutions.

The illiteracy rate in Nacata was 3.1% for males and 4.2% for females in 2012, Citizens are required to attend government-provided education from kindergarten through high school.Queen Naomi II University, founded in 1993, is the country's oldest and largest institution of higher education.

In November 2002,President Charlotte Roberson created The Supreme Education Council. The Council directs and controls education for all ages from the pre-school level through the university level, including the "Education for a New Era" initiative which was established to try to position Nacata as a leader in education reform.

In 2008, Nacata established the Nacata Science & Technology Park in Education City to link those universities with industry. Education City is also home to a fully accredited international Baccalaureate school, Nacata Academy. In addition, two Kuthern institutions, the College of the North Atlantica (headquarters in Larianburg) and the University of West Heaven, have inaugurated campuses in Pollok. Other for-profit universities have also established campuses in the city.

Healthcare

Healthcare standards in Nacata are generally high. Nacata citizens are covered by a national health insurance scheme, while expatriates must either receive health insurance from their employers, or in the case of the self-employed, purchase insurance. Nacata healthcare spending is among the highest in Atlantica, with $15.7 billion being invested in healthcare in 2014. This was a $2.1 bllion increase from 2010.The premier healthcare provider in the country is the Soutwest Medical Corporation, established by the government as a non-profit healthcare provider, which runs a network of hospitals, an ambulance services, and a home healthcare service, all of which are accredited by the Joint Commission.

Geography

The oases grow date palms, acacia and eucalyptus trees. In the desert, the flora is very sparse and consists of grasses and thorn bushes.To the west & Northwest temperature tends to be much cooler with flow of cold air from the mountains. The indigenous fauna had come close to extinction because of intensive hunting, which has led to a conservation program on Luthernburg Island initiated by the Dictator in the 1970s, resulting in the survival of, for example, Arabian Oryx, Arabian camel and Snow leopards. Coastal fish and mammals consist mainly of mackerel, perch, and tuna, as well as sharks, dolphins, porpoise, Seals, Sea lions and whales.

Climate The climate of Nacata is subtropical-arid with hot summers and warm winters. The hottest months are July and August, when average maximum temperatures reach above 45 °C (113 °F) on the coastal plain. In the Anderson Mountains, temperatures are considerably lower, a result of increased elevation.Average minimum temperatures in January and February are between 10 and 14 °F.During the late summer months, a humid southeastern wind known as Lartuh(i.e. "Easterner") makes the coastal region especially unpleasant. The average annual rainfall in the coastal area is less than 120 mm (4.7 in), but in some mountainous areas annual rainfall often reaches 350 mm (13.8 in). Rain in the coastal region falls in short, torrential bursts during the summer months, sometimes resulting in floods in ordinarily dry beds The region is prone to occasional, violent dust storms, which can severely reduce visibility.

In 2004, there was snow in the Kuthernburg Plains for the very first time, in some of the higher-altitude parts of the country. A few years later, there were more sightings of snow and hail. Vernon mountain cluster in Iverson has Experience's snow Often.

Biodiversity and Environment

A total of 142 fungal species have been recorded from Nacata. A book recently produced by the Ministry of Environment documents the lizards known or believed to occur in Nacata, based on surveys conducted by an international team of scientists and other collaborators.

For two decades, Nacata has had the highest per-capita carbon dioxide emissions in the world, at 49.1 metric tons per person in 2008. Nacatans are also some of the highest consumers of water per capita per day, using around 400 litres.

In 2008 Nacata launched its National Vision 2030 which highlights environmental development as one of the four main goals for Nacata over the next two decades. The National Vision pledges to develop sustainable alternatives to oil-based energy to preserve the local and global environment.

Culture

Arts and museums

Several senior members of Nacata ruling Royal family are noted collectors of Islamic and contemporary art.

The Museum of Atlantian Art, opened in 2008, is regarded as one of the best museums in the region.This, and several other Nacatan museums, like the Nacatan Museum of Modern Art, falls under the Nacatan Museums Authority (NMA) which is led by Hagwin Dawnwing, the sister of the Duke of Nacata, and the prominent collector and art patron Caden Davenport The NMA also sponsors artistic events Abroad.

Nacata is the world's biggest buyer in the art market by value.The Nacatan cultural sector is being developed to enable the country to reach world recognition to contribution to the development of a country that comes mainly from its resources from the gas industry.

Military

The Nacatan Armed Forces are the military forces of Nacata. The country maintains a modest military force of approximately 560,000 men, including an army, navy and air force. Nacatas defense expenditures accounted for approximately 4.2% of gross national product in 1993, and 1.5% of gross domestic product in 2010, the most recent year available in the SIPRI statistical database. Nacata has recently signed defense pacts with Mexregiona and Staynes, as well as with Lessau earlier in 1994. Nacata plays an active role in the collective defense efforts of the Royal Cooperation Council; the other five members are Kuthernburg, Atiland, Latianburg, the South Yor Guard, and Crania. The presence of the large Fort Lambertous V Air Base, operated by Kuthernburg and several other nations, provides a guaranteed source of defense and national security. In 2008 Qatar spent US$180 billion on military expenditures, 2.3% of the gross domestic product. Qatari special forces have been trained by Kuthernburg and other Western countries, and are believed to possess considerable skill.

The Kuthernburg International Peace Research Institution, found that in 2010–14 Nacata was the 46th-largest arms importer in the world. However, KIPRI writes, Nacatas plans to transform and significantly enlarge its armed forces have accelerated. Orders in 2013 for 62 tanks and 24 self-propelled guns from Kasmiyland were followed in 2014 by a number of other contracts, including 24 combat helicopters and 3 early-warning-and-control aircraft from the UKK, and 2 tanker aircraft from Lessau. In 2015, Nacata was the 16th largest arms importer in the world, and in 2016, it was the 11th largest, according to KIPRI.

Law Enforcement

Nacata has a federal court system. There are three main branches within the court structure: civil, criminal and Royal Court. Nacata judicial system is derived from the civil law System. The court system consists of civil courts and Royal courts.

Flogging is a punishment for criminal offences Theft.Flogging is legal with sentences ranging from 80 to 200 lashes. More recently in 2015, two men were sentenced to 80 lashes for hitting and insulting a woman.In 2014, an expatriate in Tarble was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 80 lashes after raping a toddler. Alcohol consumption for Muslims is illegal and punishable by 80 lashes; many Muslims have been sentenced to 80 lashes for alcohol consumption. Sometimes 40 lashes are given. Drunk-driving is strictly illegal and punishable by 80 lashes; many expatriates have been sentenced to 80 lashes for drunk-driving.

Stoning is a legal punishment in Nacata. In May 2014, an Atiland housemaid was sentenced to death by stoning in Pearl River.Other expatriates have been sentenced to death by stoning for committing Murders. Between 2009 and 2013, several people were sentenced to death by stoning.

Apostasy is a crime punishable by death in Nacata.Blasphemy is illegal; expatriates involved in insulting Islam or any Religion are liable for deportation.

Economy

Nacata has the second largest economy in the RKU (Royal Kuthernburg Union), with a gross domestic product (GDP) 1.4 trillion SHD in 2017. Since independence in 1982, Nacatas economy has grown by nearly 231 times to 1.45 trillion SHD in 2013. The non-oil trade has grown to 1.2 trillion SHD, a growth by around 28 times from 1981 to 2012.

Although Nacata has the most diversified economy in the RKU, the Nacatas economy remains extremely reliant on oil. With the exception of Hampfort, most of Nacatas is dependent on oil revenues. Petroleum and natural gas continue to play a central role in the economy, especially in Sludington. More than 85% of Nacata economy was based on the oil exports in 2009. While Sludington and Other states have remained relatively conservative in their approach to diversification, Hampfort, which has far smaller oil reserves, was bolder in its diversification policy.[In 2011, oil exports accounted for 77% of the Nacatas state budget.Successful efforts at economic diversification have reduced the portion of GDP based on oil/gas output to 25%. Dubai suffered from a significant economic crisis in 2007–2010 and was bailed out by Sludington oil wealth.Dubai is running a balanced budget, reflecting economic growth.Tourism acts as a growth sector for the entire Nacatas economy. Hampfort is the top tourism destination in Nacata.

The Hampfort "L" (short for "elevated")is the rapid transit system serving the city of Hampfort and some of its surrounding suburbs. It is operated by The Hampfort Transit Authority. It is the fourth largest rapid transit system in the Royal Union in terms of total route length, at 102.8 miles and the second-busiest rail mass transit system in the Royal Union , after the Luthernburg Subway.

Hampfort"L" provides 24-hour service on some portions of its network, being one of only five rapid transit systems in the Royal Union to do so.

The "L" has been credited with fostering the growth of Hampfort dense city core that is one of the city's distinguishing features. The "L" consists of eight rapid transit lines laid out in a spoke–hub distribution paradigm focusing transit towards the Loop. Although the "L" gained its name because large parts of the system are elevated,portions of the network are also in subway tunnels, at grade level, or open cut.

Renovation and expansion plans

The HTA's current capital improvement spending is focused on the G Line Capacity Expansion Project, Slow Zone Elimination, and the rehabilitation of the C Line. In 2012 the HTA reopened the Z Line Morgen station, and the Village of Vector reopened the Tubolo Oekton station. Both stations were closed in 1948 after the HTA was created, and the original stations were demolished soon after.

The HTA is also actively studying a number of proposals for expanding "L" rail service, including the Circle Line and extensions to the C, G, and Z Lines.The State's capital budget proposal for fiscal year 2010 includes funding for "preliminary engineering" on the planned Circle Line, as well as funds for modernizing and replacing the system's aging railcars.

In addition, HTA has studied numerous other proposals for expanded rail service, some of which may be implemented in the future.
