- Royal Palace: the King's official residence in Markund.
- Reutherhof Palace: residence of junior members of the royal family in Markund.
- Summer Palace: the King's official residence in Halvan.
- Marsburg Castle: it is used for official guests.
- Hetzendorf Palace: Queen Charlotte's official residence in Markund.
- Speinburg Castle: the Duchess of Lansborn's official residence.
- Merkurvilla: Princess Helena's official residence in Markund.

- Order of Merit: founded in 1920 by King Friedrich V. It is awarded upon the government's advice to Braslander and foreign citizens who have distinguished themselves in their services to the nation in different fields. It has five grades: Knight Grand Cross, Knight Commander, Commander, Officer, Member.
- Order of the House of Balkronn: instituted in 1875 by King Georg II. It is awarded to distinguish personal service to the King or a member of the royal family. The Order is conferred at the discretion of the King alone. It has five grades: Knight Grand Cross, Knight Commander, Commander, Knight 1st Class, Knight.
- George Medal: founded in 1974 by Queen Regent Charlotte to honour her late husband, George III. It is granted once a year to a Braslander or foreign citizen who has made great contributions to international dialogue and cooperation.
Finances
Every year the State assigns a budget to cover the expenses of the members of the royal family that perform official duties.
The members of the royal family that receive an annual allowance to cover for both their official and private expenses are:
- The King
- Queen Charlotte
- Prince Leopold and Princess Isabelle
- Princess Maria Olimpia
- Princess Maria Amelia
- Princess Auguste
- Prince Stephan
- Prince Peter
When a member of the Royal House marries a foreign royal and settles abroad, Parliament grants them a one-time allowance, after which they no longer benefit from State funds.
The Balkronn Fund
In 2012, King Georg IV ceded all his private assets to a foundation called The Balkronn Fund. These are:
- 500,000 acres of agricultural holdings in continental Brasland, which includes woodland and real estate properties. They are exploited commercially or rented to farmers.
- Schloss Grünenberg: the King's private residence near Markund, which includes a large park and several farms, as well as the surrounding hills and forests.
- Schloss Balkronn: the royal dynasty's ancestral seat, which includes 5,000 acres that are used for farming.
- Die Hütte: the King's private estate house in the island of Ostis, which includes 20,000 acres that are used for hunting, agriculture and forestry. They are exploited commercially or rented to farmers.
- Schloss Kronburg: the King's private estate in the Braslander Alps, which includes 30,000 acres that are used for hunting as well as for agriculture and forestry. They are exploited commercially or rented to farmers.
- A vast investment portfolio estimated in 1 billion US dollars.
- A large collection of works of art (paintings, sculptures, furniture, etc) and jewels (tiaras, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc).
The Fund has the responsibility of managing the properties, which are always at the King's disposal. The earnings are either reinvested or used for charitable purposes. A portion of the earnings are given to the King, and he uses them at his own discretion, as well as to provide for certain members of the royal family who do not have the means to support themselves in a way suitable to their rank.
The Balkronn Fund is managed by a board of eleven members, whose chairman is always the Sovereign. These are:
