World Bowl II was hosted by Newmanistan, the hosts of the 1st World Bowl. The big suprise in the group stages was Rennidan, who finished 9-1, after a 5-5 record and 1st round flameout in World Bowl I. While the biggest dissapointment in the group stage was by Taeshan, winners of World Bowl 0, and lost out on tiebreakers. Only the top 3 teams from each group advanced. In the playoffs, Rennidan all 4 of its games, winning their first title. The 8th and 9th best records faced off in a play-in game to determine the 8th team int eh quarterfinals.
