|
World Bowl XVI was the 16th installment of the World Bowl championship for football. Cassadaigua, winners of World Bowl VIII, were chosen to host their first World Bowl. The Allamunnic States won their first title beating German Zerabithea 31-20 in the championship.
Group Stage
The 56 participants were placed into 8 groups of seven teams each and played a double-round robin format. The top 3 teams in each group advanced to the playoffs. Each of the eight group winners earned a first-round bye in the playoffs. The remaining 16 teams were ranked by record, not by group placement.
