World Bowl III was hosted by Arroza. The entire knockout stages of the competiton were held in 4 stadia in the city of Atalanta. Once again 3 groups of 6 teams played a double-round robin, with the top 4 teams advancing to the playoffs. The 3 Group winners and the best second placed team were given byes into the quarterfinals. The suprise teams to qualify for the Playoffs were 1st timers Cotenshire and The Candrian Empire, with the former reaching the quarterfinals. Qazox, won its first Gridiron title, defeating World Bowl I champions Dancougar in the finals.
