The Ninth edition of the Baptism of Iron was a preliminary tournament held to give teams new to international football experience before World Bowl XV. The 21 teams played in a Swiss-style tourney. Maurepas withdrew just before the tourney started, giving 6 teams a forfeit victory. Those teams will be marked with an asterisk.
